This piece is simply made to escape to another place. Showing something small and beautiful, then pulling the camera back to show a harsher environment where it lives. Surrounded in a habitat where everything’s stronger than we’ll ever be. Pulled back into that harsher world I would hope it feels inviting. This requires some textural hypnosis and I would usually like to build a longer piece when making an audio environment with that in mind. But it feels good to think cinematically, using a shorter time to make something that feels like a tram ride through a place I’d like to see.
